Aperitivo Aspide Spritz

The special flora and unique climate of Sardinia yield botanicals (herbs, leaves, berries, fruits etc.) with rich flavours. Silvio Carta, a family-run firm, harvests these wild and even grows some of them itself. Just six miles from the sea lie the stills and cellars with chestnut barrels where the liqueurs are produced and matured. Traditional, extremely slow maceration at room temperature allows the aromas to be drawn out naturally.

Aspide Spritz offers a fragrance of citrus fruits and fresh herbs. These elements also emerge in its bitter-sweet, aromatic flavour. A vibrant bitter aperitif reminiscent of the much-loved venetian cocktail but with an added combination of the fresh scents and many-layered aromas of the passionate italian island of Sardinia - bitter orange, mediterranean maquis and pine forests.
